Prime Time Family Reading

Six weekly family literacy event sponsored by Humanities Washington

For the last 3 years Family CIRCLES has been awarded a grant from Humanities Washington to conduct the Prime Time Family Reading Program for residents of east Lewis County. Families get together to enjoy free dinner, children’s books, a read aloud, and a discussion. The program goals are to increase reading at home and develop community connections in an enjoyable way. Door prizes are awarded and families get to keep the books.
Ages 6-10 and parents: Share thoughts & ideas about a different picture book each week
Preschool age siblings: Separate fun book-related activities!
